Our passion for great coffee and espresso started long ago. For over 25 years my wife and I shared the love of all thing’s coffee. That love affair led us to buy our first espresso machine where we began sharing espresso drinks with our family and friends.

Our day often begins with a hot cup of magic that puts us in the right mood to start the day with drive and excitement, we want to create that magic for everyone that walks through our doors or drives up to our window as we hand them their favorite hand crafted beverage to jump start their day!

Over the years our home coffee bar grew into "Genovese Cafe", a painting my wife had ordered for my birthday in 2003. Since then we expanded our offerings to include more than 20 flavors of lattes, pour-overs, French press and Chemex pour-overs. We even offered take out cups for hot and cold drinks to our guests.

A trip to Hawaii and a tour of a Kona coffee plantation over 10 years ago, had a strong impact on both of us. We learned how coffee was grown, picked, and processed. Not only was it the most beautiful vacation we have ever taken, it left us with a new appreciation for coffee and a desire to one day roast our own beans. It was then that we began truly deepening our knowledge of roasting and creating handcrafted specialty beverages.
